The Steamer

1. 16:35 – Ffos – Flexi Time (5.4)
   

Flexi time has been coming in this this morning taking money from the other runners, as the horse still looks strong I am inclined to beleive that the price will shorten further

Result – An SP of 5.24 was returned of Flexi Time but the horse had drifted out prior to that

The Place Backs

1. 14:50 Ffos – Steveys Lad – 1.94
2. 15:40 Stratford – Raincoat – 3.25
3. 16:35 Ffos – Flexi Time – 2.74

Steveys Lad is strong in the market and should have a good change of getting placed at the 1.9 mark. Raincoat, although a higher price looks a good bet at those odds so I am hapy to take it on with the knowledge that it will have a good run and at 3.25 would be a healthy profit if it places.

Result – Stevies lad got us a place but the SP had come in a little to 1.76, Raincoat finished 7th but did get to 2.0 during the race. Flexi Time was just out of the money at 4th.

The Place Lays

1. 15:25 – Ffos – Machu Picchu – 2.14
2. 15:50 – Lingfield – Orange Pip – 2.8
3. 16:00 – Ffos – Jazz Musician – 1.76
4. 16:15 – Stratford – Saulty Mix – 2.24
5. 16:35 – Ffos – Harouet – 2.54
6. 17:00 – Lingfield – Moonbalej – 2.16

Machu Picchu is not showing the signs that it should be for the 15:25 so I will look to oppose rather than to go with it. Orange Pip and Jazz Musician are guaranteed of a place in the runnings either. Saulty Mix is not popular with the money at Stratford so that makes my list. Harouet and Moonbalej have been pretty static in moving fields a sign that I will take them on also

Result – Machu picked up a 3rd place finish, which in a 7 runner race means the bet paid off for me.  Orange Pip actually won his race, Fazbee traded at 1.81 and Romantic Queen at 2.20 in running.  Jazz Musician was pulled out of the race and declared a non runner, Saulty Mix was leading until the 3rd furlong and then weakened to finish in 6th place.  Harout also weakend dureing the later parts of the race but held in to grab 3rd place. Moonbalej finished 3rd in a 5 runner race so I picked up a profit there.
